Description

A delightful Christmas jam made with cranberries and strawberries, perfect for spreading on toast or desserts during the holiday season.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds cranberries, fresh or frozen
  • 1 1/2 pounds strawberries, fresh or frozen
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups light brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground allspice
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • Optional: zest of one orange or 1 tablespoon lemon juice


Instructions

  1. Add cranberries, strawberries, both sugars, and all spices into your crockpot. Stir to combine.
  2. Cover the crockpot and cook on high for 240 minutes (4 hours), stirring halfway through.
  3. Blend the mixture with an immersion blender until it reaches a jam-like texture.
  4. Ladle the hot jam into clean jars, wiping the rims before sealing with lids.
  5. Let the jars cool at room temperature, then refrigerate overnight before using.

Notes

Store in tightly sealed jars in the refrigerator for up to two weeks or freeze for up to a year. Adjust sugar levels for a sweeter taste.
