A delightful snack that combines sweet caramel with crunchy apple for a perfect fall treat.
Ingredients
- 4 cups Rice Chex cereal
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- 1 cup apple crisps (or dried apples)
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Measure out the Rice Chex cereal into a large bowl.
- Combine caramel sauce and melted butter in a microwave-safe dish and heat until smooth.
- Pour the caramel mixture over the Rice Chex and ensure every piece is coated.
- Toss the mixture in a blend of powdered sugar and cinnamon until evenly covered.
- Add in the apple crisps (and optional chocolate chips) and mix gently.
- Spread the mixture onto a baking sheet to let it cool and set.

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. Freeze for longer storage.
