Ingredients
- 1 pound chicken breast, diced
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 1 can (14 ounces) tomato sauce
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 teaspoons garam masala
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- Salt to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until it’s translucent.
- Stir in the minced garlic and ginger, cooking for an additional minute.
- Add the diced chicken to the skillet, cooking until it’s no longer pink.
- Pour in the tomato sauce and heavy cream, stirring to create a velvety mixture.
- Sprinkle in the garam masala, chili powder, and salt. Stir well and let it simmer for 15-20 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
Notes
Serve with rice or naan. Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to three days or frozen for up to three months.
