Description

A rich, creamy, and fragrant Indian dish that combines tender chicken with a luscious tomato sauce and aromatic spices.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breast, diced
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1 can (14 ounces) tomato sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 teaspoons garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish


Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until it’s translucent.
  2. Stir in the minced garlic and ginger, cooking for an additional minute.
  3. Add the diced chicken to the skillet, cooking until it’s no longer pink.
  4. Pour in the tomato sauce and heavy cream, stirring to create a velvety mixture.
  5. Sprinkle in the garam masala, chili powder, and salt. Stir well and let it simmer for 15-20 minutes.
  6. Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.

Notes

Serve with rice or naan. Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to three days or frozen for up to three months.
