Tender chicken breasts coated in a tangy balsamic-soy marinade, baked until juicy and flavorful.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced (or 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder)
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup olive oil


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and position the rack in the center.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, dried oregano, black pepper, and salt until combined and glossy.
  3. Arrange the chicken breasts in a shallow baking dish and pour the marinade over them, ensuring both sides are coated. Let sit for 10-15 minutes if possible.
  4. Bake for 25–30 minutes until an instant-read thermometer reads 165°F (74°C).
  5. Remove and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Notes

Adjust salt based on soy sauce used. For even cooking, pound chicken breasts to uniform thickness.
