Ingredients

  • 200g dark chocolate
  • 100g cream cheese
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
  • 2 tablespoons orange juice
  • 1 cup crushed nuts or cocoa powder (for coating)
  • Confectioner’s sugar (optional, for dusting)


Instructions

  1. Melt the dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl or using a double boiler until smooth.
  2. In a separate mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, orange zest, and orange juice. Mix until well incorporated.
  3. Pour melted chocolate into the cream cheese mixture and stir until blended.
  4. Refrigerate the mixture for about 30 minutes, or until firm enough to handle.
  5. Scoop out small portions and roll into bite-sized balls.
  6. Roll each truffle in crushed nuts or cocoa powder until coated.
  7. Place the truffles on a parchment-lined tray and refrigerate until set completely.
