Ingredients
- 200g dark chocolate
- 100g cream cheese
- 1 tablespoon orange zest
- 2 tablespoons orange juice
- 1 cup crushed nuts or cocoa powder (for coating)
- Confectioner’s sugar (optional, for dusting)
Instructions
- Melt the dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl or using a double boiler until smooth.
- In a separate mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, orange zest, and orange juice. Mix until well incorporated.
- Pour melted chocolate into the cream cheese mixture and stir until blended.
- Refrigerate the mixture for about 30 minutes, or until firm enough to handle.
- Scoop out small portions and roll into bite-sized balls.
- Roll each truffle in crushed nuts or cocoa powder until coated.
- Place the truffles on a parchment-lined tray and refrigerate until set completely.
- Dust with confectioner’s sugar before serving, if desired.
