Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup yogurt
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 cup cooked sausage or bacon, crumbled
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your favorite blend)
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, whole wheat flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, mix the milk, yogurt, and melted butter until well blended.
- Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring gently until just combined.
- Fold in the crumbled sausage or bacon, shredded cheese, and green onions.
- Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead gently for about a minute.
- Roll out the dough to approximately 1 inch thick and cut into rectangles or squares.
- Place the cut pieces on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 15–20 minutes until golden brown and puffed.

Notes
