Instructions
- Dissolve the yeast and sugar in warm water in a large mixing bowl. Let sit for about 5 minutes, or until frothy.
- Mix in 2 cups of flour, salt, and olive oil into the yeast mixture.
- Stir together until a rough dough begins to form.
- On a floured surface, knead the dough for about 5-7 minutes, adding more flour as needed, until smooth and elastic.
- Place the kneaded dough in a greased bowl, cover with a towel, and let rise in a warm spot for approximately 30 minutes.
- After rising, roll out the dough to desired thickness, add toppings, and bake in a preheated oven at 475°F (245°C) for 12-15 minutes.
