Description

A warm and comforting potsticker soup that combines the flavors of traditional dumplings with a fragrant broth and vibrant greens.

Ingredients

  • Dumplings (potstickers)
  • 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 2 cups fresh greens (like spinach or bok choy)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Green onions, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat sesame oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, sautéing for a minute until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the broth and soy sauce, raising the heat to bring it to a gentle simmer.
  4. Introduce the dumplings to the simmering broth and cook according to the package instructions.
  5. Once the dumplings are cooked through, stir in your fresh greens and let them wilt down.
  6. Serve hot in bowls and finish with a sprinkle of chopped green onions on top.

Notes

Consider serving with a side of steamed rice or fried rice. Use frozen dumplings for quicker preparation.
