- 6 croissants, torn into pieces
- 6 large eggs
- 2 cups milk

- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Whisk together the eggs and milk in a large mixing bowl. Season with salt and pepper.
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with butter or oil.
- Layer the torn croissant pieces evenly along the bottom of the dish.
- If using, sprinkle diced ham or bacon over the croissants, followed by a layer of cheese and fresh herbs.
- Pour the egg mixture over the layers, ensuring every piece is well soaked.
