Description

A classic comfort food that transforms weeknight dinners into warm family gatherings with its simple and delicious flavors.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (1.5 lbs)
  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 4 tbsp real butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prep your ingredients: chop garlic and have others ready.
  2. In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of butter over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken breasts for about 5 minutes on each side until golden brown, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  3. Add minced garlic to the pan and sauté for about a minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth and bring the mixture to a boil.
  5. Stir in the egg noodles, reduce heat, and let simmer for 8-10 minutes or until noodles are al dente.
  6. Remove the skillet from heat, stir in the remaining butter, and sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For a richer flavor, consider adding a splash of white wine. You can also use pre-cooked chicken to speed up cooking time.
