A charming and easy-to-make no-bake dessert that captures the essence of fresh bananas in a creamy, wholesome tart.
Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas
- 1 cup almond flour
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil, melted
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- Toppings of choice (nuts, seeds, or additional fruit)
Instructions
- Mash 2 of the ripe bananas in a bowl until smooth.
- In another bowl, combine almond flour, melted coconut oil, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Mix well to create a crust.
- Press the crust mixture firmly into the bottom of a tart pan for an even layer.
- Pour the mashed bananas onto the crust and spread it out evenly.
- Slice the remaining banana and arrange the slices on top of the tart.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
- Top with nuts, seeds, or additional fruit before serving.
Notes
For added creaminess, consider adding a splash of coconut cream when mashing the bananas. Adjust maple syrup for sweetness if desired.
