Ingredients
- 1 cup nut butter (peanut or almond)
- 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1/2 cup protein powder
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (or other mix-ins)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- A pinch of salt
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the nut butter and honey (or maple syrup) until smooth.
- Add in the rolled oats, protein powder, chocolate chips, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Mix well.
- If the mixture is too dry, add a splash of water or more nut butter.
- Scoop portions of the mixture and roll into small balls, placing them on a parchment-lined tray.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
- Enjoy as a quick snack or post-workout pick-me-up.
