Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 low-carb wrap or dough (e.g., almond flour dough)
Instructions
- In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the sliced bell pepper and onion, sautéing until they are softened and aromatic.
- Introduce the ground beef to the pan, cooking until it’s browned and fully cooked through, adding garlic powder, salt, and pepper to taste.
- Remove the skillet from heat and mix in the shredded provolone cheese until it melts and creates a gooey filling.
- Spoon the beef and cheese mixture onto the low-carb wraps, being generous but careful not to overfill.
- Roll them up tightly and place each roll seam-side down on a baking sheet.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for about 10-15 minutes, until the rolls are golden and crispy.
