Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 low-carb wrap or dough (e.g., almond flour dough)


Instructions

  1. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the sliced bell pepper and onion, sautéing until they are softened and aromatic.
  3. Introduce the ground beef to the pan, cooking until it’s browned and fully cooked through, adding garlic powder, salt, and pepper to taste.
  4. Remove the skillet from heat and mix in the shredded provolone cheese until it melts and creates a gooey filling.
  5. Spoon the beef and cheese mixture onto the low-carb wraps, being generous but careful not to overfill.
  6. Roll them up tightly and place each roll seam-side down on a baking sheet.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for about 10-15 minutes, until the rolls are golden and crispy.
