Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- Burger buns
- Lettuce, tomato, and other toppings (optional)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, finely chopped onion, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well incorporated, being careful not to overmix.
- Form the mixture into equal-sized patties, making sure they’re not too thick for even cooking.
- Preheat your grill or skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the patties on the grill or skillet for about 5-7 minutes on each side, using a meat thermometer to check for an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Serve the patties on burger buns topped with fresh lettuce, sliced tomatoes, and any other preferred toppings.
Notes
Don’t skip the Worcestershire sauce for extra flavor. Experiment with different spices or add cheese for a twist.
