Quick and easy honey garlic chicken tenders that are kid-friendly and crowd-pleasing.
Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken tenders
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup honey
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Spices (optional: paprika, a pinch of cayenne, or your choice)
Instructions
- Pat the chicken tenders dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, and any optional spices.
- Warm olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
- Add chicken tenders in a single layer and sear for about 3-4 minutes until golden.
- Flip and cook the other side for another 3-4 minutes until cooked through.
- Push the chicken to the side, lower heat to medium-low, and add minced garlic; cook until fragrant.
- Pour in honey and stir gently, simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens into a glaze.
- Taste and adjust seasoning; serve immediately.
Notes
Serve with rice, steamed vegetables, or a crisp salad. For a twist, use maple syrup instead of honey or add spices for more flavor.
