Ingredients
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooked rice or vegetables for serving
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, mix together the honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic until smooth.
- Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat until hot.
- Add the shrimp to the pan, season with salt and pepper, and cook for about 3-4 minutes until pink and opaque.
- Pour the honey garlic sauce over the shrimp and stir gently, cooking for another 2-3 minutes.
- Serve hot over steamed rice or alongside vegetables.
Notes
Feel free to substitute shrimp with chicken or tofu. Adjust the sweetness of the sauce with more honey if desired.
