Ingredients
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/4 cup almond butter or peanut butter
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup mashed bananas or applesauce
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- 1/4 cup dried fruit (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a spacious bowl, mix the rolled oats, cinnamon, and salt together.
- In a separate bowl, combine the honey or maple syrup, almond butter, and mashed bananas or applesauce, stirring until smooth.
- Pour your wet mixture into the dry ingredients and mix until well combined. If adding nuts or dried fruit, fold them in now.
- Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
- Allow to cool before cutting into bars and enjoying.
