Description

Quick and flavorful chicken bites that are perfect as a family meal or appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko for extra crunch)
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup flour
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional spices: garlic powder, paprika, or Italian seasoning
  • Cooking oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (if baking) or heat oil in a deep skillet (if frying).
  2. Season the chicken pieces with salt, pepper, and any additional spices you prefer.
  3. Set up a breading station with three shallow bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs.
  4. Dredge each chicken piece in flour, shaking off excess, dip it in egg, then coat it with breadcrumbs, pressing down to adhere.
  5. Place coated chicken bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper (if baking) or carefully add to hot oil (if frying).
  6. Bake for about 20 minutes or until golden and cooked through, flipping halfway, or fry for 5-6 minutes on each side until golden.
  7. Remove from heat, let cool slightly, and serve warm.

Notes

Marinate chicken in buttermilk for extra juiciness. Use panko for enhanced crispiness.
