A vibrant dish featuring ground turkey and colorful bell peppers, perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 2 bell peppers, chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for sautéing
- Cooked rice or lettuce wraps or taco shells for serving
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion and garlic, and sauté until they’re translucent and fragrant.
- Stir in the ground turkey, cooking until it’s browned and cooked through.
- Add in the chopped bell peppers, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Cook until the peppers are tender.
- Serve your turkey and peppers over cooked rice, in crisp lettuce wraps, or as a filling for taco shells.
Notes
For added flavor, consider adding a splash of lime juice right before serving. You can also switch up the vegetables or meat based on preference.
