Description

A vibrant dish featuring ground turkey and colorful bell peppers, perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 2 bell peppers, chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for sautéing
  • Cooked rice or lettuce wraps or taco shells for serving


Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and garlic, and sauté until they’re translucent and fragrant.
  3. Stir in the ground turkey, cooking until it’s browned and cooked through.
  4. Add in the chopped bell peppers, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Cook until the peppers are tender.
  5. Serve your turkey and peppers over cooked rice, in crisp lettuce wraps, or as a filling for taco shells.

Notes

For added flavor, consider adding a splash of lime juice right before serving. You can also switch up the vegetables or meat based on preference.
