Description

Deliciously fluffy bagels made with just Greek yogurt and self-rising flour, easy to whip up and perfect for breakfast or brunch.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Sesame seeds or everything bagel seasoning (optional)
  • Salt (to taste)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine Greek yogurt and self-rising flour until a dough forms.
  3. Gently knead the dough on a floured surface for about a minute until smooth.
  4. Divide the dough into 4 equal pieces, shaping each into a bagel with a hole in the center.
  5. Arrange the bagels on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Whisk the egg and brush it over the bagels for shine.
  7. Sprinkle sesame seeds or chosen seasoning on top, if desired.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and fragrant.
  9. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
