Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 cups pasta (penne or rotini)
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot.
- In a bowl, mix together chicken broth, heavy cream, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Pour this sauce over the chicken.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
- Remove the chicken and shred it using two forks.
- Add the pasta directly to the crockpot and stir in the Parmesan cheese.
- Cook on high for an additional 30 minutes or until the pasta is tender.
- Return the shredded chicken to the pot and mix well. Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley.
