Description

A comforting all-in-one pasta dish made effortlessly in a crockpot, featuring tender chicken in a creamy garlic parmesan sauce.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups pasta (penne or rotini)
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot.
  2. In a bowl, mix together chicken broth, heavy cream, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Pour this sauce over the chicken.
  3. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
  4. Remove the chicken and shred it using two forks.
  5. Add the pasta directly to the crockpot and stir in the Parmesan cheese.
  6. Cook on high for an additional 30 minutes or until the pasta is tender.
  7. Return the shredded chicken to the pot and mix well. Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

For extra flavor, sear the chicken before adding to the crockpot, and use high-quality Parmesan cheese.
