Description
Juicy steak bites in a garlic butter sauce, paired with a creamy Parmesan sauce, perfect for a quick dinner or special date night.
Ingredients
- 1 lb (450g) sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: chopped fresh parsley for garnish
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter (for sauce)
- 2 cloves garlic, finely minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Optional: pinch of red pepper flakes for a little heat
Instructions
- Pat your steak cubes dry and season generously with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak in batches, searing for about 2–3 minutes per side until browned. Remove from the pan and set aside.
- In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium. Melt 3 tablespoons of butter, then add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Toss the steak bites back in and coat them with the garlic butter.
- In a separate saucepan, melt 1 tablespoon of butter, and sauté the garlic for another 30 seconds. Pour in the heavy cream, bring it to a gentle simmer, and stir in the Parmesan until smooth. Season with salt, black pepper, and optional red pepper flakes.
- Pour the sauce over the steak bites or serve it on the side. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
Serve with garlic mashed potatoes, steamed asparagus, or a salad. For casual meals, serve on rice or toss into pasta.
