Description

Juicy steak bites in a garlic butter sauce, paired with a creamy Parmesan sauce, perfect for a quick dinner or special date night.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450g) sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: chopped fresh parsley for garnish
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter (for sauce)
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Optional: pinch of red pepper flakes for a little heat


Instructions

  1. Pat your steak cubes dry and season generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak in batches, searing for about 2–3 minutes per side until browned. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium. Melt 3 tablespoons of butter, then add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Toss the steak bites back in and coat them with the garlic butter.
  4. In a separate saucepan, melt 1 tablespoon of butter, and sauté the garlic for another 30 seconds. Pour in the heavy cream, bring it to a gentle simmer, and stir in the Parmesan until smooth. Season with salt, black pepper, and optional red pepper flakes.
  5. Pour the sauce over the steak bites or serve it on the side. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Serve with garlic mashed potatoes, steamed asparagus, or a salad. For casual meals, serve on rice or toss into pasta.
