Description

A vibrant and flavorful dish combining ground chicken with a spicy firecracker sauce, perfect for weeknight dinners.


Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp avocado oil
  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 2 cups chopped broccoli
  • 1 small onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • Green onions and sesame seeds for garnish
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
  • 3 tbsp honey or brown sugar
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 3 cloves garlic (grated or minced)
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger (grated)


Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together buffalo sauce, honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger until well combined. Set aside.
  2. Heat avocado oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add chopped onion and sauté for about 1 minute.
  3. Add ground chicken, breaking it apart with a spatula or meat mincer. Cook until browned and thoroughly cooked.
  4. Toss in chopped broccoli, paprika, salt, and pepper, stirring well.
  5. Pour the firecracker sauce over the mixture, ensuring even coating.
  6. Cook for an additional 5 minutes until broccoli reaches desired tenderness.
  7. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
  8. Serve over steamed rice, noodles, or in lettuce wraps.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days or freeze for up to three months.
