Description

A simple and nutritious breakfast solution that can be prepared in advance, offering endless flavor possibilities.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup milk (or plant-based milk)
  • 1/2 cup yogurt (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


Instructions

  1. In a jar or bowl, combine the rolled oats and milk. If using yogurt, add it as well.
  2. Drizzle in the honey or maple syrup and add the vanilla extract.
  3. Stir the mixture well until combined.
  4. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  5. The next morning, stir again and add your favorite toppings before enjoying.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to five days. For freezing, leave space in containers as oats will expand.
