Description

A comforting and easy dish that blends the flavors of lasagna with the convenience of frozen ravioli, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 can (24 oz) pasta sauce
  • 1 package (25 oz) frozen cheese ravioli
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain any excess fat for a leaner dish.
  2. Stir in the pasta sauce, along with garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Allow it to simmer for about 5 minutes to develop the flavors.
  3. In your greased slow cooker, spread a thin layer of the meat sauce across the bottom.
  4. Layer half of the frozen ravioli on top of the sauce.
  5. Spoon half of the remaining meat sauce over the ravioli, then sprinkle half of the shredded cheeses atop the sauce.
  6. Repeat with another layer of ravioli, reserved meat sauce, and the remaining cheese.
  7. Cover your slow cooker and cook on low for 240 to 300 minutes, or until everything is heated through and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy the comfort of each bite!

Notes

You can use sautéed vegetables or mushrooms instead of ground beef for a vegetarian version. Consider serving with a garden salad or garlic bread.
