Description
A comforting and easy dish that blends the flavors of lasagna with the convenience of frozen ravioli, perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 can (24 oz) pasta sauce
- 1 package (25 oz) frozen cheese ravioli
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain any excess fat for a leaner dish.
- Stir in the pasta sauce, along with garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Allow it to simmer for about 5 minutes to develop the flavors.
- In your greased slow cooker, spread a thin layer of the meat sauce across the bottom.
- Layer half of the frozen ravioli on top of the sauce.
- Spoon half of the remaining meat sauce over the ravioli, then sprinkle half of the shredded cheeses atop the sauce.
- Repeat with another layer of ravioli, reserved meat sauce, and the remaining cheese.
- Cover your slow cooker and cook on low for 240 to 300 minutes, or until everything is heated through and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve hot and enjoy the comfort of each bite!
Notes
You can use sautéed vegetables or mushrooms instead of ground beef for a vegetarian version. Consider serving with a garden salad or garlic bread.
