Description

A comforting and creamy slow-cooked chicken dish perfect for family gatherings and busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 package (8 oz) Italian dressing mix
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 8 oz angel hair pasta
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Begin by placing the chicken breasts in the crock pot.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the Italian dressing mix, cream of chicken soup, and cream cheese until they form a smooth mixture.
  3. Pour this creamy combination over the chicken in the crock pot.
  4. Set your slow cooker to low, and let it cook for 6-8 hours, or until the chicken is thoroughly cooked and tender.
  5. About 30 minutes before serving, cook the angel hair pasta according to the package instructions.
  6. Once the chicken is ready, shred it in the crock pot and mix it back into the sauce.
  7. Serve the creamy chicken over the cooked angel hair pasta and optionally top with fresh parsley.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider searing the chicken before slow cooking and adding sautéed onions or garlic. This dish is also suitable for meal prep and can be frozen for longer storage.
