Description
Enjoy a comforting, creamy chicken thigh dish featuring a garlic-Parmesan sauce, perfect for busy weeknights or elegant dinners.
Ingredients
- 4 chicken thighs
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat chicken thighs dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
- Place the thighs skin-side down and sear until the skin is golden, about 4–5 minutes. Flip and sear for another 4–5 minutes.
- Lift the chicken out of the skillet and set aside.
- Lower the heat to medium, add minced garlic, and sauté until fragrant, about 30–60 seconds.
- Pour in the heavy cream and stir in the grated Parmesan until smooth and slightly thickened.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over thighs, and nestle them into the sauce.
- Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Remove from the oven, rest for 5 minutes, and garnish with parsley before serving.
Notes
Bone-in, skin-on thighs give the best flavor. For a lighter sauce, use half-and-half. Store leftovers refrigerated for up to 3-4 days.
