These creamy garlic and herb cheese-filled roasted mushrooms are a delicious and easy appetizer that’s sure to impress your guests.
Ingredients
- 12 large mushrooms
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 2 oz garlic and herb cheese (like Boursin)
- 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Clean the mushrooms gently with a damp cloth and remove the stems.
- In a medium-sized bowl, mix together cream cheese, garlic and herb cheese, minced garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Using a spoon, carefully fill each mushroom cap with the cheese mixture, packing it in lightly.
- In a separate bowl, combine panko breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, and olive oil. Mix until the breadcrumbs are evenly coated.
- Generously sprinkle the breadcrumb topping over each stuffed mushroom.
- Arrange the filled mushrooms on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, then roast in the oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the tops are golden and crisp.
- Serve warm and enjoy as a delightful appetizer.
Notes
Feel free to experiment with different cheeses or fresh herbs based on your preferences. These stuffed mushrooms can also be frozen after baking for up to a month.
