Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts
- 2 large onions, sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the sliced onions and cook them until caramelized, about 10-15 minutes.
- Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Push the onions to the side of the pan and add the chicken breasts. Brown them on both sides, cooking for about 6-7 minutes each side until cooked through.
- Reduce heat to low, and pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine.
- Let it simmer for an additional 5-10 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Serve with your choice of rice, pasta, or vegetables. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
