Ingredients
- 8 oz pasta (such as fettuccine or penne)
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and add chopped onion and minced garlic; sauté until the onion is translucent.
- Add the lean ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
- Reduce heat to low and stir in Greek yogurt and Parmesan cheese until well combined and creamy.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until evenly coated in the sauce.
- Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
For a thicker sauce, add cream or more Parmesan. Substitute ground turkey or meatless crumbles as necessary.
