Description

A quick and creamy pasta dish featuring ground beef and a tangy Greek yogurt sauce, perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta (such as fettuccine or penne)
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and add chopped onion and minced garlic; sauté until the onion is translucent.
  3. Add the lean ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  4. Reduce heat to low and stir in Greek yogurt and Parmesan cheese until well combined and creamy.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until evenly coated in the sauce.
  7. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

For a thicker sauce, add cream or more Parmesan. Substitute ground turkey or meatless crumbles as necessary.
