Delightful bite-sized treats combining flaky crescent dough, creamy brie, and sweet-tart cranberry sauce. Perfect for celebrations and gatherings!
Ingredients
- 1 can of crescent roll dough
- 8 ounces of brie cheese
- 1 cup of cranberry sauce
- 1/4 cup of orange juice
- 1/4 cup of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of orange zest
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the crescent roll dough and cut it into squares that fit snugly into your muffin tin.
- Gently place the dough squares into a greased muffin tin.
- Cut the brie cheese into small pieces and place one piece in each dough cup.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine cranberry sauce, orange juice, sugar, and orange zest. Stir until warmed through.
- Spoon the warm cranberry mixture over the brie in each cup.
- Bake for about 15-20 minutes or until the dough is golden brown.
- Allow to cool for a couple of minutes before serving.
Notes
For extra crunch, add chopped nuts to the cranberry mixture. Adjust sugar based on tartness of the cranberry sauce for flavor balance.
