Ingredients
- 30 oz frozen hashbrowns, thawed
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 onion, chopped
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the thawed hashbrowns, melted butter, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped onion, salt, and pepper.
- Stir until everything is well incorporated and evenly coated.
- Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish.
- Bake in the oven for 45-50 minutes, or until golden and bubbly.
- Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For a lighter option, substitute Greek yogurt for sour cream. You can also make this dish ahead of time and bake it in the morning for an easy breakfast.
