Description

Delightful and festive cinnamon rolls shaped like Christmas trees, perfect for holiday gatherings and brunches.

Ingredients

  • 1 package of crescent roll dough
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Green icing or food coloring for decoration
  • Sprinkles for decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough and lay it flat on a clean surface.
  3. In a bowl, mix the brown sugar and cinnamon together. Drizzle the melted butter over the dough, then evenly sprinkle the sugar-cinnamon mixture on top.
  4. Starting from the wide end, roll up the dough tightly to form a log.
  5. Cut the rolled dough into slices, about 1 inch thick, and place them in a tree shape on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, until they turn a lovely golden brown.
  7. In a separate bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract to create a sweet glaze.
  8. Once the rolls have cooled slightly, drizzle the glaze on top and decorate with green icing and colorful sprinkles to resemble a Christmas tree.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy your festive holiday treat!

Notes

For best results, ensure your crescent roll dough is at room temperature for easy unrolling. You can adjust the sugar in the filling and glaze to your taste.
