Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef or turkey
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup cranberry sauce
- 1/4 cup honey or brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef or turkey, breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet.
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the cranberry sauce, honey or brown sugar, and soy sauce. Stir until smooth and warmed through.
- Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes or until cooked through.
- Serve the meatballs drizzled with the warmed cranberry sauce mixture.
Notes
For best flavor and texture, avoid overmixing the meatball ingredients. Meatballs can be made a day in advance and stored in the fridge until ready to bake.
