Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced (for sauce)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt to taste


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, chopped onion, minced garlic, cumin, coriander, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until evenly incorporated.
  2. Shape the mixture into small oval or round kofta.
  3. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the kofta for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and fully cooked.
  4. For the sauce, combine yogurt, minced garlic, lemon juice, and salt in a bowl until smooth.
  5. Serve the kofta hot, garnished with fresh parsley, alongside the garlic yogurt sauce.
