Delightful chicken kofta infused with aromatic spices, served with a creamy garlic yogurt sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 2 cloves garlic, minced (for sauce)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, chopped onion, minced garlic, cumin, coriander, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until evenly incorporated.
- Shape the mixture into small oval or round kofta.
- Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the kofta for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and fully cooked.
- For the sauce, combine yogurt, minced garlic, lemon juice, and salt in a bowl until smooth.
- Serve the kofta hot, garnished with fresh parsley, alongside the garlic yogurt sauce.
