An indulgent and easy cheesy bean dip, perfect for gatherings and game days.
Ingredients
- 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
- 1/2 cup salsa
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the black beans, cream cheese, half of the shredded cheese, salsa, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
- Transfer the mixture to an oven-safe dish and spread evenly.
- Top with the remaining shredded cheese.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the cheese is bubbling.
- Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped green onions.
- Serve warm with tortilla chips or fresh vegetables.
Notes
For added heat, use spicy salsa or add jalapeños. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
