Description

An indulgent and easy cheesy bean dip, perfect for gatherings and game days.


Ingredients

  • 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the black beans, cream cheese, half of the shredded cheese, salsa, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
  3. Transfer the mixture to an oven-safe dish and spread evenly.
  4. Top with the remaining shredded cheese.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the cheese is bubbling.
  6. Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped green onions.
  7. Serve warm with tortilla chips or fresh vegetables.

Notes

For added heat, use spicy salsa or add jalapeños. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
