Ingredients
- 12 large mushrooms
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Carefully clean the mushrooms and remove their stems.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, grated Parmesan, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, chopped green onions, salt, and pepper until well blended.
- Generously stuff each mushroom cap with the creamy filling mixture.
- Arrange the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet, drizzle them with olive oil, and sprinkle with chopped parsley.
- Bake for about 20 minutes, or until the tops are golden and the mushrooms are tender.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
These stuffed mushrooms can be prepared a day in advance and baked just before serving. For added flavor, consider sautéing the chopped mushroom stems before mixing them into the filling.
