Description

A deliciously effortless dinner option featuring juicy chicken breasts coated in a sweet and savory maple glaze, cooked to perfection in an air fryer.

Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the maple syrup, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Coat the chicken breasts generously with the maple glaze. Let them marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  4. Spray the air fryer basket lightly with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  5. Add the marinated chicken breasts to the basket and cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  6. Remove from the air fryer, let it rest for a few minutes, then slice and serve warm.

Notes

For extra crispy chicken, toss the chicken in a bit of cornstarch before coating it with the glaze. Marinate the chicken for at least an hour or overnight for more flavor.
