A deliciously effortless dinner option featuring juicy chicken breasts coated in a sweet and savory maple glaze, cooked to perfection in an air fryer.
Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together the maple syrup, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Coat the chicken breasts generously with the maple glaze. Let them marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Spray the air fryer basket lightly with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
- Add the marinated chicken breasts to the basket and cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Remove from the air fryer, let it rest for a few minutes, then slice and serve warm.
Notes
For extra crispy chicken, toss the chicken in a bit of cornstarch before coating it with the glaze. Marinate the chicken for at least an hour or overnight for more flavor.
