Description

A quick and easy recipe that captures the classic Big Mac flavors in a convenient handheld wrap. Perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped dill pickles
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tsp white vinegar
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp onion powder
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • ½ cup finely chopped onion
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Dill pickle slices (optional)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Special Sauce: In a small bowl, stir together the mayonnaise, finely chopped dill pickles, yellow mustard, white vinegar, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder until smooth. Taste and adjust.
  2. Cook the Beef: Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the finely chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 2-3 minutes. Add the ground beef, cook until browned, about 6-8 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Assemble the Wraps: Warm the tortillas briefly, spread a layer of special sauce, add cooked beef, lettuce, cheese, and pickles.
  4. Wrap and Serve: Fold sides in and roll tightly from bottom. If desired, toast the wrap in a skillet for 1-2 minutes per side before slicing and serving.

Notes

For a lighter sauce, use Greek yogurt mixed with mayonnaise. For gluten-free, use certified GF tortillas. Assembled wraps do not freeze well; only freeze cooked beef.
