Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Chopped parsley, for garnish


Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
  3. Toss in the shrimp, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.
  4. Drizzle with lemon juice, tossing gently to combine everything nicely.
  5. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately, ideally over a bed of pasta or with slices of crusty bread.

Notes

For best results, use shrimp that are 16-20 count per pound and avoid overcooking. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
