Ingredients
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Chopped parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
- Toss in the shrimp, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.
- Drizzle with lemon juice, tossing gently to combine everything nicely.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately, ideally over a bed of pasta or with slices of crusty bread.
Notes
For best results, use shrimp that are 16-20 count per pound and avoid overcooking. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
